The Role Of Acid Energy

Acim, also known as AHARAH, is an acronym for the phrase, "At One Breath." It was first revealed to Dr. Milton H. Erickson during a lecture he delivered at a conference in Chicago, IL. According to the teachings of the ACIM Course in Miracles, all living things are interconnected. It is believed by this belief that when we die, our soul returns to where it originated from; and then begins a new cycle over again.

The author of Acim, Helen Schucman, was inspired to write a book based on the same concept when she visited New Age, Spirituality, and Meditation retreats in the Santa Fe, NM area. At one of these retreats, the hostess asked if anyone had ever come up with a book title that started with "A." Someone had, however, already come up with such a title called "The Secret." Schucman decided to take this cue and use the same acronym for her book. A Course in Miracles was born.

This is a non-paranormal "new age" series based on the works of Dr. Milton H. Erickson, who wrote a number of scientific studies relating to the healing powers of prayer. Some of these studies were done while he was a practicing psychotherapist and a medical doctor. One of his patients, a woman by the name of Virginia Knight, was being held prisoner in a mental institution when he heard of the existence of another patient, Alan W. Pilate, who was severely mentally ill and believed that his soul was stuck in an endless loop. When the gentleman's case reached the trial court, the judge asked the attorneys to either accept or decline the request for a hearing regarding his soul being trapped. The lawyers declined and the case was lost.

The first mention of the term "acim" appears in the year 1989 in a science fiction book written by L. J. de Ceccato. It was in this book that Helen Schucmann received her first citation for an embellishment of her work. It was found that her work in fact contained elements that appeared to be a cribbing of ideas from earlier works by other authors. This first citation was later retracted by the publisher and she never mentioned the incident in any of her subsequent works. This is why I feel that it is unlikely that she would have used the term "acim" if she had used the word prior to the publication of her first book.

Acim and the other New Age mantras were used in a way that seemed to suggest that there was something more to life than what one saw on the outside. In her Lessons From The Supernatural, Helen Schucman stressed that all experiences were equal, describing a universe of perfect peace and harmony with no conflicts, no evil, no pain and no suffering. This article was never intended to suggest that there are miracles or other unexplained circumstances in our lives. What I intend to do is to present certain truths about the role of the acimid, especially in helping people create inner peace and harmony.

There is no evidence that anyone has ever been able to demonstrate that a being of spirit has the power to shape reality by thinking or using any physical device. However, the acid can suggest to people that their intentions or goals are attainable if they will only work hard enough. People who have used acim readings have reported gaining access to a world that they did not know existed but that they have only perceived by means of the clarity of the images and the clarity of the words that they heard in their journeys. When you make use of the secrets of the ancients, the secrets that lay hidden within the sacred texts of the ancients, you may experience yourself as a being of light that has the power to create your own reality.
